Youth ReporterAvery Patterson was born in Durham, North Carolina. She is a rising junior at C.E Jordan HighSchool. Avery has always had a passion for storytelling, whether that be through theatre, photography, or sewing. This passion led her to WUNC Youth Reporter Institute.
